In commemoration of the opening of the United Nations Conference on the Protection of the Environment on 5 June 1972 in Stockholm, VEOLIA INDUSTRY BUILDING - SWITZERLAND AG has also declared 5 June as its annual ‘Environment Day’.
Our motto for World Environment Day 2024 is ‘The future is in our hands.’.
Various events and measures are organised to promote ecological courage globally on this day. Around 150 countries around the world take part in this World Environment Day, which aims to raise awareness of the fact that it is primarily mankind itself that threatens the diversity and stability of the environment.
In Erinnerung an die Eröffnung der Konferenz der Vereinten Nationen zum Schutz der Umwelt am 5. Juni 1972 in Stockholm hat die VEOLIA INDUSTRY BUILDING - SWITZERLAND AG auch den 5. Juni zum jährlichen "Tag der Umwelt" erklärt.

Mit unterschiedlichen Veranstaltungen und Massnahmen wird an diesem Tag global ökologische Courage gefördert. Weltweit beteiligen sich rund 150 Staaten an diesem World Environment Day, der das Bewusstsein dafür stärken soll, dass es vor allem der Mensch selbst ist, der die Vielfalt und Stabilität der Umwelt bedroht.
